26/02/01: I'll be making changes to the download section soon. Seperate pages for theme download, sound downloads etc. For now, they are seperated, and there are internal page links to each section. Also, I'm toying with the idea of adding a chat room to the pages. More on that later.
10/03/01: There have been some major changes to the TsvSciFi site recently. New graphics have been designed, and a new logo has been made. We are in the process of getting our official logo, until then, we will continue to use the current series.
Also, proper linking menu's have been added. This we feel gives the site a more professional layout. Although it does require the extensive use of Java, we hope that it will work out.
Some up comming changes include the usage of proper moving .GIF images. This will be done as soon as possible. The current delay is trying to find a balance between good visuals, and a smaller size. The chat room is still in the pipeline.
18/03/01: Changed the layout significantly. Added a simple background to replace the drab black background. All pictures had to be changed from .JPG to .GIF to allow transparency. Not sure how this will affect picture size. Moving .GIF's have been shelved for the moment. The chat room should be completed within 2 weeks. Our true logo is being discussed, and should be available after the next TsvSciFi meeting, April 10th.
25/03/01: The chat room idea has been scrapped. I decided that it wasn't worth loosing almost a 1/4 of the screen to host a feature that probably wouldn't be used. A more professional design layout is also being drawn up, and is in the initial stages at the moment. This design is to replace the amateur design that we are currently using. Any suggestions are welcome.
01/04/02: After a year in development (uh huh), the new website is online. We are looking into the costing of a slightly better host - one without advert's, so this should make things a little easier on everyone! Until then...
